- נביII, נָבָא (b. h.; cmp. נָבַע) to burst forth, blow. Nif. נִיבָּא to be inspired, to prophesy. Snh.39b יבא … ויִנָּבֵא עלוכ׳ let Obadiah come … and prophesy against ; a. e.
